Cycling can save cities money and emissions

Report by the Institute for Transportation & Development Policy and the University of California, Davis concludes that increase in bicycle and electric bike (e-bike) use can reduce expenditure and emissions in cities. Costs take into consideration include vehicle purchase, operation and maintenance, infratstructure construction, operation and maintenance and fuel/electricity use. Great report that can be used to help support shift in policies towards more sustainable modes of transport. View the Infographic. Read the report.
